MARION, Ill. -- Cape Girardeau Central High's girls soccer team keeps producing victories.
The Lady Tigers raised their record to 9-0-1 Thursday as they knocked off host Marion (Ill.) 4-2.
Amber Voerg scored three goals while Kim Aslinger had the other. Voerg, Aslinger, Rachel Hessenkemper and Tricia Klipfel all recorded assists.
Central's junior varsity also remained undefeated at 6-0-1 with a 5-0 victory. Katie Hawkins poured in four goals while Katelin Robinson had the other.
The Lady Tigers will face a busy weekend in the Carbondale (Ill.) Tournament, playing four games. Central plays Springfield (Ill.) at 5 p.m. today. Then Saturday, the Lady Tigers play Urbana (Ill.) at 10 a.m., Peoria (Ill.) at 1 p.m. and an undetermined opponent at 5 p.m.
Perryville 2, St. Vincent 0
PERRYVILLE -- Brooke Winkler and Amanda Schumer scored goals as Perryville knocked off its city rival.
Winkler also had an assist, while goalie Jennifer Blevins earned the shutout. The Lady Pirates improved to 6-2-1.

Cape Central 6, Poplar Bluff 3
POPLAR BLUFF -- Cape Central improved to 6-1 on the season with a win over Poplar Bluff in gusty conditions Thursday.
"It was an unbelievably windy day, the worst I've ever seen at a tennis match," Central coach Bud Craven said.

Cape Central improved to 4-3 with its win over Notre Dame amid windy conditionas at Cape Girardeau Country Club.
Central's Dan Groesbeck shot a 41 and was meet medalist. Josh Miller and Jeff Haycraft each shot 43 and Kent Phillips shot 44.
For Notre Dame, Tim Beurck shot 43, Nick Martin 45, Ryan Hannan 48 and Dave Beussinnk 50.
Sikeston 163, Jackson 166
SIKESTON -- Jackson suffered a narrow loss to Sikeston and fell to 6-3.
Jackson's Gabe Estes was the meet medalist with a score of 39. Chris Pike shot 41, Nathan Brown 43 and Payton Sims 43.
St. Vincent wins triangular
PERRYVILLE -- St. Vincent picked up two Jefferson County Conference wins with a team score of 163 despite windy conditions at Perryville Country Club.
Perryville High followed with a score of 172 and De Soto scored a 198.
Craig Shumer shot a 39 to lead St. Vincent followed by Dusty Cattoor with 40, Jon Paulus with 41 and Keith Pecaut with 43.
For Perryville, Ryan Besand recorded a 39, followed by Derek Cattor 43, Andy Tanz 44 and Jeff Hotop 46.
TRACK AND FIELD
Jackson, Sikeston split
SIKESTON -- Jackson's girls defeated Sikeston 99-44, but Sikeston's boys topped Jackson 89-57.
Jackson's girls took first place in 13 events, while the boys won five.
