David Berry and Patrick Duffy dominated their competition to earn a 10-4 victory at No. 1 doubles and help the Central tennis team sweep Poplar Bluff 9-0 on Tuesday.

Berry won by forfeit at No. 1 singles, while Duffy earned a 6-2, 6-0 victory at No. 2 singles. They then teamed to defeat Malay Bhatt and Davis Wilson 10-4 in their doubles match.

Brandon Gonzales won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4 singles.

The host Bulldogs scored 199 points to cruise past the competition at their own meet.

Mark Zimmer won the 400 and 200 for the Bulldogs.

On the girls side, Dexter won the meet, while Scott City took second. Notre Dame was third, while Saxony Lutheran took fifth.
