The Central boys basketball team withstood a 3-point shooting spree in the second half to defeat Mehlville 71-66 on Saturday night on the road.
The Tigers (11-13) led by 13 after three quarters. Mehlville hit seven 3-pointers in the second half to close the gap down the stretch.
Eli Harris led Central with 18 points, Anthony Hempstead had 15 and Alex Ray scored 10.
