Cross country took over Jackson on Saturday with 22 teams competing in the annual Jackson Invitational.
Jackson's meet is unique in that it divides the high school competition into eight divisions, one for each class and gender. Central led the way with two overall winners: Linnea Woldtvedt in the junior girls and Jennifer Pancoast in the senior girls.Jackson Invitaional

GIRLS TENNIS Great 8 Tournament
Central lost to John Burroughs in the completion of a match Saturday morning at the Great 8 tournament and bounced back to beat Columbia Hickman for seventh place. No. 4 Liz LaFoe, No. 3 Brett Ford and No. 6 Lindsey Pingel won singles matches in the 5-4 win against Hickman. LaFoe-Jill Blattner won at No. 2 doubles, and Sarah Ford-Pingel won at No. 3 doubles.Central 5, Hickman 4
