Central senior Todd Obergoenner shot a 2-under-par 33 at Kimbeland Country Club on Tuesday to lead Central's golf team to a tri-meet victory over Jackson and Notre Dame.
Central won with a score of 153. Blake Driskell, Ty Gramling and Kirk Lohmann each shot 40 for the Tigers.
Jackson finished with a 171. Chase Walker led Jackson with a 38. Eric Fraley (42), Blake McDowell (45), Josh Wheeler (46) and Gabe Sauer (46) rounded out Jackson's top scores.
Notre Dame finished third with a 174. John Obermark shot a 42, Clayton Eftink shot 43, Tyler Menz shot 43. Will Lindman shot a 44.BASEBALL

Perryville brought home six runs in the fourth inning and won at home.
Chad Stelling pitched all five innings for Perryville (1-1), allowing only three hits and one earned run. Stelling also was the star on offense, picking up three hits.

Oak Ridge scored four runs in the sixth inning and the game was called due to darkness after the inning, giving the Blue Jays a win at home in its season opener.
Austin Morrison struck out 14 batters and walked only two for Oak Ridge. Austin Hahs came up with the big hit for the Blue Jays, tying the score in the fifth with a bases-clearing double.

Perryville only dressed 12 players and lost its opener at home.
The Pirates (0-1) allowed a goal late in the first half. Chris Schremp scored three minutes into the second half for Perryville with an assist from Jen Koenig, but the Mules answered a minute late with the game-winner. Perryville freshman goalie Chastity Marr finished with 10 saves.
TRACK AND FIELD
Central's boys and girls beat Notre Dame in a dual meet at Central.
Central's girls won 102-42 with first-place finishes from Jennifer Pancoast, Nicole Jackson, Holly Shaffer, Courtney Schuessler, Lauren Loftus and Brianna Egbuka.
Katie Daniel and Amber Karnes were top performers for the Bulldogs. Daniel won the 100-meter hurdles and 300-meter hurdles, and Karnes won the triple jump and 400.
On the boys side Notre Dame's distance runners kept the score close in a 91-54 loss. Matt Pfau won the 1,600 and 3,200, Austin Critchlow won the 800 and Notre Dame's 3,200 relay also won.
Marcus Rice was a double winner for Central, taking the 200 and long jump. Girls results

The Bobcats (1-0) had five home runs, including two from Tiffany Johnson and one apiece from Kaci Menz, Ashley Martin and Kayla Seabaugh.
Johnson and Ashley Elliott each went 4-for-5, and Sarah Cook and Becky Rozmirski both had three hits.
Cook, who had two doubles and a triple, allowed just one hit and one walk. She struck out seven.
