Left fielder Brody Chrisman led the Catfish offense with five RBIs on two hits including hitting a grand slam. The Purdue freshman homered for the second consecutive game. Shortstop Justin Carinci had a productive day at the plate, putting up four RBIs, three of which were on a base-clearing triple. Designated hitter and Caruthersville native Hayden Nazarenus also hit a three-run home run during the game. 14 of Cape’s 15 runs were RBIs.

On the mound for the Catfish, Chaffee native Breven Yarbro got the start and scored the win, going four innings with seven strikeouts, just three walks, and only two earned runs. Notre Dame graduate Kam Dohogne came in for relief as did Camron Lewis and Bryce Morgan as the Fish cruised their way to the win.

The Catfish will be back in action on Wednesday at 6:35 p.m. at home in Capaha Park where they will take on the Danville Dans.
