ST. LOUIS -- With a more than a six-game cushion in the National League Central, the St. Louis Cardinals will start selling tickets for the National League Division Series and National League Championship Series games at Busch Stadium.
Tickets go on sale Sept. 19, online. They will not be sold at Busch Stadium or over the phone as in years past.
The team has a ticket-ordering process that allows fans to pre-register at stlcardinals.com for a random drawing for a chance to buy tickets online.
Fans will have about a week to register starting at 10 a.m. Monday. Registration ends at 5 p.m. Sept. 17.
Winners will be notified by e-mail with instructions on how to purchase tickets on Sept. 19.
Up to four tickets for one game out of the seven NLDS and NLCS games at Busch Stadium can be purchased.
Cardinals officials said there has been an unprecedented demand for tickets this season and the online registration program is the best way to give all fans an equal chance to get tickets.
The exact number of seats available won't be known until season ticket holders buy theirs.
Tickets range from $18 to $60 each for the NLDS and $38 to $80 each for the NLCS.
