Cardinals sign left-handed reliever
ST. LOUIS -- The St. Louis Cardinals are adding a third left-handed reliever to the bullpen competition for next season, signing Royce Ring to a one-year contract. Earlier, the Cardinals signed Trever Miller to a free agent deal and claimed Charlie Manning off waivers in hopes of upgrading a problem area last season.
