The Cape Girardeau Ford and Sons Post 63 Senior American Legion baseball team dropped an 8-3 decision to host Festus Legion on Thursday.
Cambron Womack took the loss for Cape (11-10), allowing six earned runs over 4 1/3 innings. He allowed seven hits, walked two and struck out one.
Cape had five hits.
The Cape Plaza Tire Junior Legion split a doubleheader with host Paducah Junior Legion on Thursday.
Paducah won the opener 11-1, while Cape bounced back with a 12-5 victory.
Nolan Dillingham and T.J. Foste had the only hits for Cape in the opener. Cramer McGarr took the loss.
Gabe Haas pitched four innings for the win. He struck out three, walked three and allowed five hits.
Logan Callahan, Kramer McGarr and Connor McGarr all had three hits for Cape. Kramer McGarr had three RBIs and three stolen bases, while Callahan had three stolen bases and an RBI. Kaleb Ward also had two RBIs for Cape (11-14).
