Cape Girardeau Ford & Sons Post 63 Senior Legion pitchers threw a pair of shutouts against the Chaffee Senior Babe Ruth Strokers on Sunday, including a no-hitter by Matt Chism.

Chism struck, walked two and hit one batter in the seven-inning opener at Capaha Field.

Calvin Lovig and Grant Dix each had a double for Cape, which finished with four hits.

Lovig struck out 13 batters in throwing a two-hitter in the nightcap. He walked two batters and hit one.

Cape (5-2) had three hits in the game.
