The Cape Legion freshmen team swept the Charleston 15U team Monday at Capaha Field.
Corey Caveness' RBI triple in the bottom of the seventh lifted Cape to a 7-6 victory in the opener before a 19-2 rout in the nightcap.
Jacquin Cummins had two hits, including a double and a triple, and three RBIs in the first game. Winning pitcher Brock Baugher added two hits. Baugher threw two innings of relief for the win.
Sean Plott recorded the win in the second game, which lasted just four innings. He allowed two hits and struck out four.
Noah Arnzen and Trevor Haas both had two hits for Cape (6-3). Haas had a double and three RBIs, while Arnzen scored three runs.
