The Cape Girardeau Post 63 Junior American Legion baseball team grabbed a pair of victories at its district tournament Thursday.

Andrew Hileman earned the win in the opener, a 6-3 victory over Sikeston. Stephen Carman picked up the save.

Josh Hiett went 2-for-3, while Aaron Wendel went 2-for-2 in the win. Christian Cavaness drove in two runs.

Post 63 followed that win with a 15-4 decision against Jackson.

Ronnie Scott allowed two hits over six innings to earn the win.

Cavaness went 4-for-5, while James Diveley drove in four runs with a pair of hits. Hileman scored three runs and Chris Limbaugh went 3-for-4 with an RBI for Post 63 (21-7).
