The Cape Girardeau 12-and-under Cal Ripken All-Stars fell to 0-2 on Sunday at the Cal Ripken World Series in Aberdeen, Md.
Cape gave up four runs in the fourth inning and two more in the fifth as it lost to Brick TWP, N.J. 6-2.
Chase Urhahn, Chase Hagerty, Matthew Westrich and James Harding accounted for Cape's four hits in the game.
Hagerty allowed six hits in five innings and took the loss. Adam Pope pitched one scoreless inning.
Kyle Cala allowed four hits in five innings to pick up the win for Brick TWP.
Cape scored single runs in the first and fourth innings.
Cape continues pool play today against Ohio Valley.
