Cape Girardeau Central's girls soccer team tallied up its 11th shutout of the season and remained undefeated with a 2-0 victory Saturday over Fort Zumwalt South.
Nichole Thiele scored both of the game's goals as the Lady Tigers improved to 13-0 on the season.
Thiele deposited her first goal 17 minutes into the game on a penalty kick and scored the second nine minutes into the second half off a pass from Abby Harris.
Amy Harris recorded the shutout in goal against a team which earlier this season beat the No. 1 ranked team in St. Louis.
"She had to make a couple of good saves," said Cape Central coach Tom Doyle. "They were a good team. They were a good ball control team and a good passing team. It wasn't our best game of the year, but we played good enough to win."
Fort Zumwalt won the JV contest 1-0, scoring with three minutes left in regulation.
Central returns to action Monday with a 4 p.m. game against Carbondale at Shawnee Park.
