The Capahas knocked off the St. Louis Golden Spikes for the third time this season, this one an 8-3 decision. The Capahas won the season series 3-2.
Josh Eftink provided the big blow, a grand slam, in the inning.
Kody Campbell helped spark the Capahas' offense with two hits in the inning. He finished the game 2 for 4.
Daryl Graham went 2 for 5 with two RBIs, while Garrett Stevens went 2 for 4 with an RBI.
Anthony Maupin worked the first seven innings to earn the win. He allowed two runs, eight hits and three walks while striking out four.
Justin Simpher closed out the game by striking out one and allowing a run on two hits over two innings.
The Capahas (15-7) will face Waterloo, Ill., today. Brad LaBruyere is scheduled to start for the Capahas.
