John Unterreiner took a pass from Trenton Vance to score the game-winner in double overtime to lead the Notre Dame boys soccer team to victory Saturday.
The Bulldogs improved to 16-3-1 overall with the 1-0 win against Clayton.
Notre Dame goalie Ryan Bass had 16 saves in the shutout.
"We got the win, but ultimately it looks like we lost," Notre Dame coach Brad Wittenborn said, commenting on the apparent knee injury to Chris McMillan.
"He's been a pretty steady player for us."
The Bulldogs improved to 16-3-1.
Jackson 6, Northwest 0
Brian Davidson scored twice to lead the Indians to victory.
Robbie Martin, Aaron Shockley, Matt Mueller and Tyler Engelhart all added a goal for the Indians (14-4-1).
Justin Darnell stopped two shots for the shutout.

Notre Dame took first place in the boys and girls team standings.
The Bulldogs boys team scored 16 points, led by Logan Davis. He won the race in 16 minutes, 37 seconds. Saxony Lutheran placed fourth (106).
The Notre Dame girls finished with 35 points. Saxony Lutheran placed fourth (116).
Tori Pfau led the Bulldogs with a second-place finish (20:53).

Central's Wendi Zickfield earned a spot on the all-tournament team as the Tigers went 1-2-1.
Central beat Fox, 25-17, 25-15, split with Northwest, 25-21, 18-25, then lost to Francis Howell North, 25-16, 25-22, and Marquette, 25-18, 25-20.
Festus tournament
Jackson took fifth place as it went 3-2 in the tournament to push its season record to 17-8-1.
Jackson dropped its first match to Sullivan, 19-25, 13-25, then won its second match against North County, 25-15, 25-13.
The Indians dropped their next match against Oakville, 19-25, 18-25, and finished off the tournament with two wins against Twin Rivers, 25-22, 25-16, and Sullivan, 25-17, 22-26, 15-5.
Chelsea Dale recorded 38 digs and 17 kills while Chelsea Olson tallied 52 digs and 78 assists for the Indians.
