Southeast Missouri State University's softball team has announced the signing of two California high school players: Christine Knobbe and Rachel VanFleet.

Knobbe is a catcher at Brea Olinda High School in Brea, Calif. Last season Knobbe batted just .250, but had a .986 fielding percentage and an on-base percentage of .581.

VanFleet is a pitcher for Garcis Memorial High School in Bakersfield, Calif. As a junior, VanFleet compiled a 19-3 record and struck out 172 batters in 156 innings with an ERA of 0.54.
