BRIEFS: SEMO's KNAPP CLAIMS OVC VOLLEYBALL HONOR

Southeast Missouri State University senior Rachelle Knapp has been named the Ohio Valley Conference offensive volleyball player of the week.

Knapp posted back-to-back .500 hitting performances as the league-leading Otahkians extended their winning streak to 12 matches with triumphs over Austin Peay and Tennessee Tech.

Knapp hit .500 and had 16 kills against Austin Peay, then delivered 19 kills and hit .591 against Tennessee Tech. She also had three service aces, 13 digs and five blocks in the two matches.
