Rubio, a rookie noseguard for the San Francisco 49ers, was one of the 49ers' 46 `active' players Sunday but did not get into the 36-30 overtime victory over the New York Jets.

For each game during the season, NFL teams must designate seven of their 53 players as `inactive.' That list changes from week to week.
