The Southeast Missouri State baseball team will carry a four-game win streak into its OVC opener this weekend at defending conference champion Eastern Illinois.

The Indians are coming off a 4-0 homestand and have won 12 of their last 14 games. The Indians, 10-0 at Capaha Field this season, belted 16 home runs in the recent homestand and outscored its opponents 45-21. On the season, Southeast has hit 26 home runs to its opponents' eight.

Eastern Illinois, which won the last two OVC titles, is currently 2-9 overall. The Panthers are coming off a 17-3 thrashing of Christian Brothers on Monday.
