Southeast Missouri State University senior gymnast Erin Chenier failed to place among the top all-around competitors during Saturday night's NCAA regional meet held in Lincoln, Neb.

Still, Southeast coach Kris Buchheister said Chenier performed a solid routine in compiling an all-around score of 38.25.

"I thought Erin did well, although a fall hurt her," said Buchheister. "But to make it to the NCAA regionals four out of four years is quite an accomplishment."

Michigan's Sarah Cain was the all-around winner with a score of 39.925. She helped lead her team to the regional team title.
