CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Southeast Missouri State University's women's track team had four individuals take first place in their respected events as the Otahkians finished in fourth place among nine teams with a score of 70.50 in Saturday's Saluki Booster's Invitational.
The men, who had no first-place finishers, ended up fifth with a score of 63.5.
Lutricia Purham took first place in the shot put with a toss of 47 feet, 3.5 inches for the Otahkians.
Southeast's Leslie McNamara (18:25.6) and Amy Arteme (18:36.9) took first and second, respectively, in the 5,000-meters.
Janelle Quigley ran the 3,000-meters in 10:03 to take first place for the Otahkians.
Heather Keltner placed first in two events for the Otahkians, the 400-meters (56.63) and the 200-meters (25.21).
