COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- Southeast Missouri State University's volleyball team, already virtually eliminated from contention for a sixth straight Ohio Valley Conference regular-season title, fell into third place in the OVC Sunday.
The Otahkians dropped a 17-15, 8-15, 17-15, 11-15, 15-10 decision to host Tennessee Tech, putting Southeast at 18-9 overall and 10-4 in the league. Tech moved into second place at 10-3. The Golden Eaglettes are 17-5 overall.
Krista Haukap led Southeast with 19 kills. Jackie Derwort and Angie Aschoff both had 18 while Lea Beckemeyer added 17. Aschoff led the way in digs with 23 and Derwort had 22. Amy Henken had 69 assists.
Tech's Lisa Dissel had a match-high 24 kills.
