Southeast Missouri State University's volleyball team will look to continue its impressive winning streak tonight when Murray State visits Houck Field House for a 7 o'clock Ohio Valley Conference match.
The Otahkians lead the OVC with a 12-1 record, having won 12 straight conference matches. Southeast has an overall 14-match winning streak as the Otahkians are 21-5.
Murray State, coached by former Southeast assistant Dave Schwepker, is tied for fourth in the OVC at 9-5. The Racers are 15-8 overall.
Eastern Illinois is second in the OVC at 11-2, with Austin Peay 11-3.
Two Southeast players have been honored by the OVC for their recent strong performances.
Angie Aschoff was named OVC Offensive Player of the Week as she had 46 kills, 13 blocks and 12 service aces last week.
Krista Haukap was named OVC Defensive Player of the Week after getting 73 kills, 52 digs and five blocks. She leads the OVC in kills with 4.81 per game.
