BRIEFLY: SEMO VOLLEYBALL SQUAD HOSTS SIU TONIGHT

Southeast Missouri State University's volleyball team will put its 23-match home winning streak on the line tonight when the Otahkians face regional rival Southern Illinois-Carbondale in a 7 o'clock contest at Houck Field House.

Ironically, the Otahkians beat SIU on Sept. 29, 1998 to begin their current home victory string.

Even though the Otahkians have won the last two matches against the Salukis, Southeast coach Cindy Gannon is not expecting an easy time tonight.

The Otahkians are 5-8 overall but 3-0 in Ohio Valley Conference play as they shoot for their eighth OVC title in 10 years.
