Fresh off a 5-0 win over the University of Missouri, Southeast Missouri State University's softball team will return to Ohio Valley Conference play today.

Austin Peay will provide the opposition for the Otahkians in a 2 p.m. doubleheader at the Southeast Softball Complex.

Southeast, 18-20 overall and 9-6 in the OVC, will send freshmen Jenny Doehring and Renee Mueller to the mound against Austin Peay (12-33 overall, 2-12 OVC).

Doehring pitched a two-hit shutout in the win over Missouri Thursday. She has a 3-5 record. Mueller, 9-11, beat Austin Peay 4-1 earlier this season.

Junior catcher Renee Enos has a hot bat for the Otahkians. She had a three-run home run against Missouri and has taken over the team lead in hitting at .299.

The Otahkians, who have won six of their last nine games, will also be in action at home Monday when Evansville of the Missouri Valley Conference visits for a 4 p.m. doubleheader.
