Southeast Missouri State University's women's soccer squad, ready to begin its second season of play, has been picked to finish third in the six-team Ohio Valley Conference.
In a poll of the league's head coaches, Eastern Illinois received four first-place votes and 24 points as it was picked to repeat as OVC champion.
Tennessee Tech received the other two first-place votes and 20 points for second place, followed closely by Southeast with 19 points.
Morehead State and Murray State tied for fourth with 10 points each while Tennessee-Martin brought up the rear with seven points.
Southeast will have its second exhibition game of the season tonight when they play at St. Louis University in a 7 o'clock start. The Billikens are the defending Conference USA champions and return seven starters from last year's 14-3-3 squad.
