BRIEFLY: SEMO GYMNASTS IN ACTION SATURDAY

Riding a three-meet winning streak, Southeast Missouri State University's gymnastics team will face a rugged test Saturday when the Otahkians compete at nationally-ranked Illinois.

The Fighting Illini are rated 18th in the nation entering the 7 p.m. meet.

Southeast, 3-1 on the season, is coming off a 188.825 to 187.650 win over Texas Women's last Saturday. That total was the Otahkians' highest score of the year so far.

Illinois has a high score of 193.55. The Illini are 5-2 on the season.

The next home meet for the Otahkians will be Feb. 28 when Ball State and William & Mary visit Cape Girardeau.
