NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Morehead State saw a 3-stroke lead shrink to a single shot Tuesday in the second round of the Ohio Valley Conference golf tournament at the Springhouse Golf Club.

The Eagles shot an even-par round of 288 for a two-day total of 2-under-par 574. Eastern Kentucky is in second place with a 1-under 575 team total. The Colonels shot a 2-under 286 on Tuesday.

Defending champion Middle Tennessee State made the biggest move of the day, shooting a 5-under 281 to jump from eight place to third at 580.

Southeast Missouri State University is seventh (588) in the 10-team tourney.

Tennessee State's Adrian Adams continues to lead in individual play with a 36-hole total of 6-under 138. Eastern Kentucky's Chris Bedore is a single shot back at 139.

For Southeast, Matt Clabaugh is tied for ninth at 144. Also for the Indians, Jason Owens is tied for 19th (147), Derek Rahlmann is tied for 24th (148) and Shawn Edgar and Ryan Florek are both tied for 30th (150).

The tournament concludes today.
