BENTON -- Randy Sellars prevailed Wednesday night in rain-shortened action at Missouri International Racepark as the UMP Million Dollar Summer Nationals for late model cars got under way.

Sellars, of Mayfield, Ky., earned $5,000 for the win and also jumped atop the points standings for the 20-stop Summer Nationals that were scheduled to continue Thursday night at the Tennessee Motor Speedway in Baxter, Tenn.

Wendell Wallace of Greenbriar, Ark., was second, with Bill Moyer of Batesville, Ark., third.

Rounding out the top 10 were Randy Korte (Highland, Ill.), Bob Pierce (Danville, Ill.), Donnie Tudor (Shawneetown, Ill.), Billy Drake (Bloomington, Ill.), Rick Auckland (Fargo, N.D.), Steve Ryan (Paducah, Ky.) and Ed Dixon (Washington, Mo.).
