Scorpions claim home opener 39-5

The Kohlfeld Scorpion Rugby Club won its homer opener against the Scott Air Force Base Rowdies 39-5.

Scorpion Jamie Hann stung the Rowdies with a try in the first three minutes of the game and Kohlfeld never looked back.

James Randle and Darren Harris both recorded two tries for the Scorpions, who also received tries from Alan Kloss and Marc Harris. Mark Lineberry provided two conversion kicks.

The Scorpions next home game (Arena Park) is Saturday at 1 p.m. against the Memphis Blues.
