Southeast's women finished third and the men placed fourth in this past weekend's indoor track meet, the Saluki Booster's Invitational.

Southern Illinois won the 11-team women's competition with 100 points. Georgia Tech followed with 89 and Southeast was next with 81.

The Southeast women won four events, with sprinter Yvonne Hente having a hand in three. Hente won the 400 meters in 56.7 and the 200 in 24.63. She was also a member of the victorious 4x400 relay which won in 3:50.44. The squad also included Kim Stewart, Heather Keltner and Tammy Wenkel. Wenkel was also victorious in the 800, winning in 2:12.23.

Mississippi State won the 10-team men's competition with 87 point, followed by Southern Illinois 79, Georgia Tech 77 and Southeast 72.
