BRIEFLY: RIVERFEST RUN EARLY REGISTRATION ENDS TODAY

Today is the deadline for early registration and family discount entry fees for Friday night's 16th annual Kohlfeld Riverfest Run in Cape Girardeau.

Those interested in pre-registering for the event can sign up at Universal Physique, 505 S. Mt. Auburn Rd., tonight from 6-7:30. Entrants can pick up their race number and T-shirt and save money by registering tonight.

Runners and walkers already registered are encouraged to pick up their race information tonight in order to avoid the traffic and crowd delays downtown Friday night.

Late registration will be available until 7 p.m. Friday. The run is scheduled to begin at 7:30.
