The Riverdogs (1-4) took a 9-8 lead into the seventh, but saw Goreville score four runs in the seventh and four in the eighth.

Goreville banged out 19 hits, including five home runs. Kenny Hohe suffered the loss.

Chris Bradshaw had three of the Riverdogs' nine hits, including one of the team's three home runs. Greg Craft and Steve Fowler also had home runs. Shane Gipson added a pair of hits.
