OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Rhodes Renegades, a 15-and-under girls AAU basketball team from Southeast Missouri, was eliminated from the AAU National Tournament with a 65-56 loss to the MJB Stars from Orange County, Calif. Tuesday night.

Andrea Koeper from Jackson scored 17 points; Notre Dame's Lisa Millham scored 13 and Doniphan's Bethany Orendorff scored 12.

After going 3-0 in pool play, the Renegades were eliminated in two games. It was the team's first appearance in bracket competition.

"We played extremely well," said Renegades coach Craig Millham. "I was real proud of them. We competed well against the select teams from the big cities."

The Renegades had four players average in double figures for the tournament.

Orendorff averaged 16 points per game, followed by Koeper with 15, Deana McCormick 11 and Millham 11.
