Perryville's Celeste Ramsey, a three-time 3A Missouri state champion, is among seven recruits signed by the Southeast Missouri Women's track program.
Ramsey won the 3A cross country title along with the state mile and 3,200 championships her senior year. She will also run cross country at Southeast.
Also signed by Southeast were sprinter/jumper Renee Bergmeier of Kearney, Neb.; sprinter Heather Keltner of Chattanooga, Tenn.; high jumper/hurdler Erin McCoun of St. Louis; jumper/hurdler Jennifer Phillips of Arnold, Mo.; distance runner Jessica Sefsik of Omaha, Neb.; and Natalie Talley of Raytown, Mo.
"This is the best recruiting class we have ever had in women's track at Southeast," said Southeast coach Joey Haines. "All of our recruits can come and be immediately competitive in the Ohio Valley Conference."
