To obtain a regional berth, a gymnast must finish in the top seven in their respective region. Chenier, a junior, averaged 38.806 in the all-around for the third seed. Roberts, a sophomore, qualified as the fifth seed.

To qualify for the NCAA National Championships, a gymnast must finish in the top 12 in the nation based on a one-time performance in the regional.
