BRIEFLY: MOORE THROWS FIRST PITCH IN BALTIMORE

Tony Moore, a 1996 Perryville High School graduate and a senior-to-be at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md., was scheduled to throw the ceremonial first pitch prior to Tuesday night's Minnesota vs. Baltimore game at Camden Yards.

Moore was selected to throw the first pitch as part of a large Naval Academy group attending the game.

A member of the varsity baseball team at Navy, Moore helped lead the Midshipmen to the 1999 Patriot League championship and a berth in the NCAA Division I Tournament. The right fielder batted .307 and hit a home run in the NCAA tourney, although Navy was eliminated in two games.
