"We had no misconceptions about whether we would win the game against Wisconsin," said Scorpions coach Tim Joplin. "But when you get a chance to play against the best, you accept the challenge. We learned that our team is good, but we are not able to compete on a national level. We have something to aspire to."

Scoring against Scott Air Force were Joplin, Marc Harris, Sean Hagan, Chris Smith and Walter Denton. Hagan provided three conversions.

The Scorpions will host the St. Louis Ramblers and Ft. Leonard Wood at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Arena Park field on Hawthorne Road.
