POPLAR BLUFF -- The Eagle Ridge Christian boys basketball team suffered two losses in the Southern Missouri Christian Schools Invitational Saturday, falling to 4-4 on the season.

Two players for Southern Missouri Christian School combined for 67 points to seal a 77-69 semifinal victory over Eagle Ridge.

Josh McMillian poured in 35 points and Jeremy Diel had 32

Eagle Ridge's Toby Schreve scored 25 points, Mike Probst had 17 and Brandon Sparkman added 10.

In the third-place game, New Salem Baptist Academy defeated Eagle Ridge 66-39.

Jason Conway led New Salem in scoring, notching 32 points, while Brandon McCormick added 22.

Schreve and Sparkman scored 10 points apiece for Eagle Ridge.
