Justin Simpher was the first-game winner, allowing three hits while striking out 10 and walking four in seven innings. Andrew Estes had four hits while Simpher and Rocky Portell added three each.

Matt Stroup pitched six shutout innings in the nightcap, allowing two hits while fanning 11 and walking four. Perry Rice had four hits while Stroup, Jerrod Scheinemann and Travis Hanback all added two.
