BRIEFLY: CAPE GIRARDEAU C.C. WINNERS

Kathy Barksdale was medalist at the Women's Golf Association's weekly event held last Tuesday night at the Cape Girardeau Country Club.

Play of the Day was Pink Ball/Best Ball and was won by the team of Kathy Barksdale, Barb Stribling and Marlena Jones took home both honors with Kathy Barksdale the medalist with a 37.

Beth Mapes was medalist in the Thursday morning event. In the Play of the Day, Linda Tewis won Most 3s; Beth Mapes won Most 4s; and Marlena Jones won Most 5s.

In Thursdays twilight play, the winning team of Ann Dombrowski, Joyce Kunze, Pat Irvin and Shirley Tally carded a 36. The closest to holes winners were Dana Underwood (No. 2), Kim Shore (No. 6) and Shirley Talley (No. 8).
