The Southeast Missouri State University men's basketball team announced Tuesday that sophomore guard Fred Abraham will transfer to another school.
"Fred has told me that due to family considerations he will leave our basketball program and transfer to a school closer to his Paterson, New Jersey home," said Southeast coach Gary Garner. "We certainly wish Fred the best of success. He did a good job for us in his two seasons here."
Abraham, a point guard, played in a total of 48 games at Southeast. He averaged 2.3 points this past season.
The loss of Abraham leaves Southeast with one scholarship still available for next season.
