Allison Bray of Cape Girardeau shot a 1-over-par 73 to win the MGA 2016 Junior Amateur Championhip girls ages 16-18 age division and the overall girls title at the Paradise Point Golf Club in Smithville, Missouri.
Bray, a rising junior at Notre Dame Regional High School where she has been a two-time all-state golfer, finished four strokes ahead of Inia Gaume and Emma Solovic in the weather-shortened event, which had about 30 girls in the 18U division. It was the second title for Bray, who won the 12-13 division in 2013.
The event was scheduled for two days, but the second round was cancelled due to inclement weather.
Taryn Bell of Jackson won the girls 14-15 division with a 78, edging Megan Propeck by one stroke.
