Bill Bradley of Cape Girardeau and Kim Anderson of Jackson emerged as the men's and women's singles open champions, respectively, on Sunday at the Southeast Missouri State tennis courts in a tournament sponsored by the Cape Area Tennis Association.
Bradley rallied for a 4-6, 7-6, 6-4 victory over Joe Navrkal, while Anderson cruised to a 6-2, 6-1 win over Sue Bippin.
In the men's 'A' singles, Joe Recker defeated Gary Loos in the finals 6-0, 6-1. In the men's 45 singles final, Darren Neader swept Mike Keefe 6-3, 6-2.
In the men's open doubles, Neader and Long Le defeated Navrkal and Dan Dapp 6-3, 6-1.
Approximately 40 players participated in the tournament.
