Scott City (2-0) hounded Lesterville (1-5) from the jump, exiting the first quarter with a 19-point lead en route to a 75-45 win at home on Friday, Dec. 1.

It was the Rams' first home win of the season. Dating back to last season, Scott City has won four straight home games, with two more home games against Zalma on Dec. 7, and Oran on Dec. 8, coming up.

Jackson Gloth led the Rams in scoring with 14 points, followed by 13 points from Mark Panagos, and 11 from Kobe Watson, who made his Scott City home debut.

The Rams took control of the game from the jump with a 23-4 first-quarter lead, led by Panagos, who scored half of his points in the opening period. The Rams spread the ball around in the first half, as 10 different Scott City players scored a basket, leading to a 37-21 halftime lead.

Scott City outscored Lesterville 38-24 in the second half to cruise to victory. The Rams made 13-of-21 from the free-throw line.

Bradley Twomey led Lesterville in scoring with a game-high 20 points scored. Aaron Walker added 10 more points for the Bearcats, who will return home to host Summersville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 5.
