The 37-year-old Barrasso was solid in the first period as he kept the game scoreless despite a 13-7 edge in shots for the Flames.

Barrasso then turned in a couple of game-saving stops in the third period as the Blues hung on.

Midway through the period, Barrasso stopped Jarome Iginla's shot from the slot and then stacked the pads to thwart Martin Gelinas as he tried to jam in the rebound. Clearly frustrated, Gelinas smashed his stick against the goal post afterward.

On a power play late in the third, Barrasso was again down on the ice after making an initial save but still managed to stop Chris Drury from 10 feet.
