St. Louis Blues goaltender Jake Allen was named to the NHL's All-Rookie team, the league announced Saturday.

Allen led rookie goaltenders in wins (nine), goals-against average (2.46) and save percentage (.905) while ranking second in appearances (15) and minutes (803:53). He won eight of his first nine decisions, including five straight from March 7-16.

Allen, 22, made a career-high 39 saves March 12 in a 4-2 win against San Jose and posted his first career shutout March 14 in a 3-0 win against Phoenix.

Others named to the team were defensemen Jonas Brodin (Minnesota) and Justin Schultz (Edmonton), and forwards Brendan Gallagher (Montreal), Jonathan Huberdeau (Florida) and Brandon Saad (Chicago).
