Bell City's volleyball team continued to roll with a resounding 25-8, 25-19 sweep Tuesday of host Saxony Lutheran.

The Cubs improved to 21-1. Bell City's lone loss came at the Notre Dame Volleyballfest to the host Bulldogs in the semifinals.

Megan Slagley led Bell City (21-1) with six kills and six digs.

Saxony Lutheran fell to 6-12-1. Nicole Petzoldt had four kills and four blocks for the Crusaders. Kara Versemann added three points and three kills for Saxony.

JV -- Bell City won 25-14, 26-24.

St. Vincent 25 19 25 Perryville 19 25 16

St. Vincent outlasted rival Perryville on the road.

Kelsey Cissell had 10 kills and 10 assists for St. Vincent (23-3-2). Lacey Siegmund added 13 assists and 19 digs, Courtney Besand had eight kills and 11 digs, Brooke Brown had 13 points and seven kills, Sara Moll had 17 digs and Brooke Hayden had seven kills.

St. Vincent played its second straight three-set match after falling at Valle Catholic 25-19, 18-25, 23-25 on Monday.

JV -- St. Vincent won.

Freshmen -- St. Vincent won.

Central 25 25 Chaffee 14 20

Kristin Shirrell had seven assists and five aces in a road sweep.

Melissa Espinoza added six kills for the Tigers (11-9-2).

Notre Dame 25 25 Advance 9 16

Ashley Nenninger had 10 kills and three blocks for Notre Dame (10-8) in a road win.

Meridith Medlin recorded eight kills and nine assists, and Aimee Ha added eight assists for the Bulldogs.

JV -- Notre Dame won.

Jackson 25 25 North County 22 23

Katelyn James had eight kills and nine points in a home sweep.

Chelsea Olson added 12 assists for the Indians (6-10-1), and Megan Glueck had seven digs.

JV -- Jackson won 25-17, 26-24.

Freshmen -- Jackson won 25-18, 26-24.

Leopold 25 25 Meadow Hts. 12 17

Maddy Hutchings and Erin Woodfin had 6 kills apiece as Leopold (15-2) won at home.

Cassie Jansen added four kills, and Cassie Seiler had 12 assists for the Wildcats.

JV -- Leopold won 25-19, 22-25, 25-22.

BOYS SOCCER Jackson 2, Sikeston 1, 2OT

Brian Davidson scored twice for Jackson, including the game-winner midway through the second overtime period, in a home win.

Spencer McCormack had an assist for the Indians (9-3-3).

JV -- Jackson won 5-2.

Notre Dame 7, Anna-Jonesboro 0

Ty Williams scored three second-half goals in a home win.

Ryan Willen and J.P. Thompson added two goals apiece for the Bulldogs (12-1).

Austin Gelsheimer, Williams, Brett Heischmidt, Richard Marquart, Thompson, Matt Kiblinger and John Unterreiner had assists.

Ryan Bass was in goal for the shutout.

GIRLS TENNIS Central 8, Dexter 1

The Tigers remained perfect in dual play with a home win.

Central improved to 14-0 and will finish its season Monday at home against Sikeston.

Benton allowed two hits and two walks in the complete-game victory.

The Red Devils (8-10) were coming off a 6-3 win over Sikeston at home Monday.

Kiefer had two hits in the win, and Chelsey Walter had two RBIs.

Brittany Ponder and Summer Procter each had three hits for Kelly. Sarah Ruff and Casey Kern added two hits apiece, and Katee Moore picked up two RBIs with a triple.

CROSS COUNTRY Farmington Invitational

Notre Dame's boys had six runners win medals en route to the team title.

Neil Kanneberg, Logan Davis and Dillon Klaffer finish fifth, sixth and seventh, respectively. Jon Ramsey was 15th and Ben Beussink was 16th to round out Notre Dame's top five.

The top 30 medaled.

Brandon Etzold led the second-place Crusaders with a second-place finish. Max Wieser followed in 10th for Saxony and Peter Winningham finished 12th.

Greg Gibson led Jackson with a third-place finish, and Cody Green finished 18th.

In the girls race, Casey Hatton finished in sixth place to lead Jackson to a first place finish. Beth Barton finished ninth and Nicole Parrish was 15th.

Tori Pfau led the Bulldogs in second, and Jessica Banda was fifth.

Deanna Dippold finished 14th for Saxony Lutheran.

Notre Dame won the junior varsity boys race, and Jackson won the junior varsity girls race.
