BASEBALL SKILLS COMPETITION

The Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department will host the 1997 Fleer Diamond Skills Baseball Competition Saturday, May 10, from 1-4 p.m. at Arena Park Field No. 6.

The competition is divided into four age groups: 7-8, 9-10, 11-12 and 13-14. Boys and girls will compete together.

Competition will focus on batting, fielding, throwing and running.

Champions in each skill event will move on to sectional competition.
